Date and time

To access the date and time settings, follow the path [MENU] -> [SETTINGS] -> [DATE AND TIME].

The settings that can be changed on this page are:

• Date: Current date of the year.
• Time: Current time.
• Daylight Saving Time - Start: First day of daylight saving time.
• Daylight Saving Time - End: Last day of daylight saving time.

After setting the date and time parameters, press the [OK] button to save the defined dates and times.

NTP

For date and time configuration, the device uses the Network Time Protocol (NTP), which synchronizes the clocks of network devices. It ensures that all devices on the network have an accurate date and time setting, regardless of their location or the accuracy of their internal clocks.

This ensures that events, transactions, or logs from the devices are recorded with consistent timing.

Date and time format

On the last page of Date and Time, it is also possible to switch the device's time format from 24h (default format) to 12h (AM/PM). It is also possible to select either the date format as dd/mm/yyyy or mm/dd/yyyy.
