Intercom settings
General Settings
To access the general settings menu, on the main screen press [MENU] -> [INTERCOM] -> [SIP SETTINGS]. In this menu, you can configure SIP intercom settings such as the server address, network ports, operation mode, and other settings.
To enable/disable the intercom, simply press the [ENABLE] button.
The SIP Server Address can be configured in the [SERVER ADDRESS] box. Pressing it will open an alphanumeric keyboard where the address can be entered. Enter the desired address and confirm by pressing the [CONFIRM] button.
To configure the network ports used in SIP intercom, press the corresponding box for the desired port. A numeric keyboard will open; enter the desired network port and confirm by pressing the [OK] button.
Other SIP settings can be accessed by pressing the [NEXT] button located at the bottom of the screen.
When the [NUMERICAL EXTENSION] option is activated, the user's extension number is read as a numeric value.
Regarding operation modes, if you choose to use the device as a SIP Client, the settings for SIP server, Extension, Login, and Password must be properly filled in. The device will then communicate with the server to make and receive calls.
Once you have completed the general SIP settings, press the [OK] button to save and apply all configurations.
Call settings
To access the call settings menu, on the main screen press [MENU] -> [INTERCOM] -> [CALL SETTINGS]. In this menu, you can configure various settings related to making and receiving calls.
You can specify the dial mode by selecting the button for the desired configuration. If automatic dialing is chosen, the settings for auto dial number and contact name will be enabled.
For dialing modes using a contact list or a combination of keypad and contact list, an edit contacts button will be displayed. For more information on adding and editing contacts, refer to the intercom contacts section.
Pressing the [NEXT] button at the bottom of the GUI will reveal additional settings.
The settings that can be changed on this page are:
- Automatic answering: Enables/disables auto-answer for calls on the device.
- Automatic answering delay (s): Wait time for automatic call answering.
- Registration Time (s): Defines the wait period between the device's registration requests to the SIP Server.
- Keep-Alive (s): Time between keep-alive signals sent from the device to the router.
- Maximum call time (s): Maximum duration of a call. Once this limit is exceeded, the call will be ended.
Clicking on the button [NEXT], the following screen is displayed:
The settings that can be changed on this screen are:
- Automatic call with unknown user: Enables/disables the feature of making an automatic call when an unknwon user stays in front of the device for longer than an specified amount of time.
- Call after (s): Wait time before making the call.
To see the remaining call settings, press the [NEXT] button at the bottom of the GUI.
Firstly, you can configure the DIAL BUTTON. If disabled, the button will not be visible on the main screen of the device, which is a good option if you want to prevent calls from being made from the device or if you prefer to make calls using an external button.
If you wish to use an external button (e.g. REX button) for dialing, you can enable it using the [EXTERNAL DIAL BUTTON] button.
You can allow the device to continue performing facial identification while you are on a SIP call. To do this, simply activate the [FACIAL IDENTIFICATION DURING THE CALL] parameter.
The button's debounce time can also be configured by filling in the [DEBOUNCE OF THE DIALING SIGNAL FROM THE PUSHBUTTON (MS)] field.
Once you have completed the call settings, press the [OK] button to save and apply all configurations.
